UBER-DOODLES
These drawings are spontaneous…impulsive…meditative. They form part of a regular practice of engaging with the simple tools of pencil and paper, reconnecting me to the foundational joy of mark-making for mark-makings sake.
Though without design or purpose they still have the power to articulate and hint towards entities - form insinuates itself and is teased forward. To me they vibrate with something of life and beg perceptual questions. Do the lines represent a trail of matter or the edge of density?
