A starling skull. A deep black bullrush. Bramble. Teasel. Freshwater mussel. A pollarded willow. A spine. A collection of personally symbolic objects relating to the Somerset Levels where I grew up and chosen whilst on a trip of conscious re-acquaintance there in winter.
My re-presentations, the intimacy of their making stand as a gesture of love, reflecting a tenderness towards them and between myself and the landscape.
